PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT:
Our goal as the Public Works Department is to provide the citizrns with courtious and professional service.  We are here to maintain the Infrastructure systems we are responsible for so that the city and citizens have a beautiful and safe city as well as a high quality of life. 

We as a Department ask each citizen that when you have an issue or see one, to contact the city's action center to report the issue.  We will then work to correct these issues in a timely manner. 

Remember, we are also citizens of this community and want to help see our fine city grow and prosper.  If we, the Public Works Department, City Officials, and Citizens, all work together, we can continue to make Columbus the Best City in Mississippi.  

The vision of the department is to provide the best available service to the city residences in the maintenance and repair of the infrastructure systems that we are responsible for. We want to provide a safe and beautiful community for the residences and Visitors. We will strive to improve our work every day and to work closely with the citizens and leaders of this community to help it grow and succeed.
