Fire Chief Kenneth Moore Phone Number (662)329-5121 Email: kmoore@columbusms.org Kenneth Moore has been employed at the Columbus Fire Department since 1984. He has served as Firefighter, Fire Engineer, Fire Captain, Training and Safety Officer and promoted to Fire Chief in June, 2005. He also serves the City of Columbus and Lowndes County as Homeland Security Coordinator. He is a graduate of Caledonia High School and holds a double major in Fire Administration and Fire Prevention Technology from the University of Memphis and earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Mississippi State University in May, 2005. He is also a graduate of the Mississippi State Personnel Board as a Certified Public Manager. He has completed over 1,500 hours of specialized training from the Mississippi Fire Academy and the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. |
