The City of Columbus uses Columbus Alerts (CivicPlus Mass Notification System | CivicReady) to send emergency alerts and other notifications.

Subscribers can register to receive emergency alerts and other notifications via phone call, text message, and/or email. 

Examples of messages sent through Columbus Alerts (CivicPlus Mass Notification System | CivicReady):

  • Emergency Alerts
  • Agenda
  • Severe Weather Alerts issued by the National Weather Service
